The Evans Creative Suite is a multifunctional space dedicated to enriching the visitor experience. It fosters lifelong learning and acts as the museum’s central hub for a wide array of offerings, including university programming, educational activities, and public engagement.

Curator Elaine Altman Evans
Named in honor of former curator Elaine Altman Evans, the newly established creative suite commemorates Evan’s forty-year tenure at the McClung Museum and her lasting legacy in arts and culture curation.
With the establishment of the Evans Creative Suite, the McClung Museum now offers a new space for continued learning and exploration, providing access to books, art, activities, and a place for play. Designed with inclusivity in mind, the suite also provides a semi-private room that can be utilized as a low-stimulus environment or an area for breastfeeding mothers to pump or nurse.
