Box with lid made of orange, green, white, and black porcupine quills, birch tree bark, vegetable dye and pine straw. It was made by artisans of the Mi’kmaq culture, a First Nations band indigenous to Nova Scotia, one of eastern Canada’s Maritime provinces on the Atlantic.
