An unglazed figurine of an owl that has its small wings extended and is painted white with scale-like feathers and an orange beak and ears. It was made by Lucy M. Lewis, a notable ceramicist of the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico. April 15th is World Art Day, an international celebration intended to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide.
