Family Fun Day: Celebrate Native American Heritage

McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture


In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the museum will host a family day highlighting its temporary exhibition, Northwest Coast Art: A Community of Tradition, and its permanent exhibition, Archaeology and the Native Peoples of Tennessee. The program will feature Cherokee artist and storyteller, Freeman Owle, and Mark and Sherry Finchum, from Indian Creek Productions, Inc. Join us for an afternoon of exploration, crafts, art, storytelling and more!

All materials will be provided. The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not necessary.
