Join UT’s McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture as we explore Townsend area geology on a day long tour along the Blue Ridge Foothills facilitated by UT Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences Professor, Bob Hatcher. The tour will include stops to Tuckaleechee Cove and Chilhowee Lake. Attendees will have the opportunity to dismount the bus for observation, photographs, and collecting.
Your ticket fee includes the coffee upon arrival, the tour, lunch, a field guide, and an annual museum membership for non-members. A portion of each ticket is tax deductible and is non-refundable.
