Academic Programs is currently at capacity for the rest of the semester, and will only be scheduling self-guided tours by professors.
To make an arrangement to bring your class to the museum for a session led by you or our staff or for research visits, please fill out our University Class Visit Form. Before sending students to the museum for an assignment, please fill out our University Class Assignment Form.
To explore possibilities for your class to engage with the museum, contact Lindsey Gharavi, coordinator of academic programs, firstname.lastname@example.org or 865-974-2416 (email preferred).
Museum visits can be self-led by the course instructor, or in collaboration with a member of the McClung Museum staff. It is not our policy to accommodate classes in the absence of the instructor. To initiate scheduling for all types of visits, we ask that you fill out the class visit form at least four weeks in advance of a visit or assignment. Then, the coordinator of academic programs will contact you to confirm scheduling and discuss planning if necessary. Not sure how the museum fits with your course content and learning objectives? Get in touch—we are here to help.
