Navy Jack with blue field and (48) star portion of the United States flag. This flag was on the bow of the United States Battleship USS California when it sunk during the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. The battleship was later re floated and the flag was presented by Rear Admiral J.W. Bunkley, captain of the California at the time of Pearl Harbor, to the donor.
