618-907 C.E. – One of two statues depicting a  horse and rider in green glazed ceramic, dating to the Tang Dynasty. The horse was a popular subject in art during this “golden age” of Chinese history, representing imperial stability, territorial expansion, and wealth. 1.625 in. high.
