Parking & Directions

The McClung Museum is located at 1327 Circle Park Drive, Knoxville, TN 37996, off Volunteer Boulevard on the UT campus. Nearby landmarks include Neyland Stadium across Peyton Manning Pass, and the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center across Lake Loudoun Boulevard.

Directions to the Museum

  • From I-40, take the Alcoa Highway (Hwy. 129) exit, then exit at Neyland Drive. Turn left onto Neyland. At Lake Loudoun Blvd., turn left and go to the end of the street. You will be at Volunteer Blvd. Turn right onto Volunteer. Take the next right onto Circle Park Drive. The museum is the first building on the right.
  • From Alcoa Highway, traveling north, exit at Neyland Drive, then follow the directions given above.

Parking Shack

On weekdays, request a free two-hour museum parking pass from 7 am to 4 pm from the Parking Information Center kiosk at the entrance to Circle Park Drive, located just north of the museum. On weekends and after 4pm weekdays, free parking is available on Circle Park Drive. Parking during these times does not require a parking permit unless an athletic or other large event is scheduled on campus. On those occasions paid parking is made available and parking attendants will be present.
