“Knoxville at Night” Postcard

c. 1940 – A color lithograph postcard printed on linen paper stock depicting the Knoxville skyline as seen from Ayres Hall at night. The iconic building was designed by Miller, Fullenwider, and Dowling of Chicago, and completed in 1921. It is named for Brown Ayres (1856–1919), the 12th president of the University of Tennessee. 5.5 inches high.
