Join us for free a free Family Fun Day featuring storytelling, activities, crafts, tours, and more.

We are partnering with the Center for Children’s and Young Adult Literature to feature a day of storytelling for visitors and their families. Storytellers will use the museum’s galleries as inspiration. Crafts and activities included.

All materials will be provided. The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not necessary.

Due to road closures and traffic related to planned events on Market Square and in Fort Sanders, the museum asks visitors to take Neyland Drive to Lake Loudoun to approach the museum.

From the West: Take I-40 E to US-129 S/Alcoa Hwy; and then on to TN-158/Neyland Dr. Once on Neyland, turn left on Lake Loudoun Blvd. and then turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.; Take your first right onto Circle Park Drive to park for free in front of the museum.

From the East/South: Take I-40 W or James White Parkway to Neyland Drive. Once you are on Neyland Drive, turn right onto Lake Loudoun Blvd. and then turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.; Take your first right onto Circle Park Drive to park for free in front of the museum.
