Large pear-shaped vase that is decorated with an all-over mirror black glaze of softened quality, threaded by a closely drawn and highly conventional floral scroll disclosed in an emerald green curve. This vase was made during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, one of the longest-reigning and most enlightened rulers of the Chinese Qing dynasty.
